A bonus of $1.00 per hour worked will be paid twice a year on January 15th and June 15th.

Purpose Statement

 

The job of In School Suspensionn Supervisor is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for overseeing students assigned to the room; documenting student behavior; and providing information to teachers, parents and/or other personnel.

This job reports to the Building Administrator.

SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications.

 

KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; understand written procedures, write routine documents, and speak clearly; and solve practical problems.  Specific knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: behavior and crisis management techniques; and instruction techniques.

Working Environment

 

Performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing.  The job is performed under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
